Screen idea · Two programmes, explained by the job each does. Healthier SG and CHAS are easy to confuse because the same clinic can offer both. This page never asks people to choose between them. It introduces each by the question it answers, in an identical three-line pattern with no logos, states plainly how they work together, and then lets people check which applies to them before sending them to a clinic finder that shows both on every result. The check uses simplified rules for the prototype.

Healthier SG

A regular doctor, and paying less at the clinic

Two programmes help with this. They do different jobs, and many people can use both.

The two programmes

“I want one doctor who knows me”

Healthier SG

What it's for
Staying well with a regular family doctor: a health plan, screenings and vaccinations.
Who it's for
Residents aged 40 and above.
What you do
Choose a family clinic and enrol with it.

“I want to pay less when I see a doctor or dentist”

CHAS

What it's for
Subsidies that lower the bill at participating GP and dental clinics.
Who it's for
Singapore Citizens. How much depends on your household.
What you do
Apply for a CHAS card, then show it at the clinic.

One clinic can offer both

One is about who looks after your health. The other is about what you pay. Many family clinics take part in both, so you don't have to choose.

Assumption for the prototype: programme summaries are provisional wording, to be verified with AIC and MOH.
